Low rainfall worries Mauritanian nomads

Farmers in southeast of country, where severe famine hit two years ago, fear another year of severe drought.

In the southeast of Mauritania, the amount of rain is disturbingly scarce for this time of year.

Nomads in the area are now on the move, in search of both water and land for their livestock to graze on.

Two years ago, millions of animals died and a severe shortage of agricultural products caused a famine in the region.
