Fighting forces DR Congo refugees to flee to Uganda

Just this month, more than 1,000 internally displaced people from Ituri fled to Uganda, and more than 60,000 since 2017.

Hundreds of internally displaced people (IDP) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) have been forced to flee fighting in the Ituri region.

It follows increased attacks by militias on several villages.
